Chantel Navarro, a boxer hailing from Glendale, is already making her mark in the ring, stepping into the legacy of her family’s fighting tradition. Trained by her father, former pro boxer Ignacio Navarro, she’s continuing a proud lineage. Her uncle, José Navarro, also carried the family name to the global stage, competing in the 2000 Summer Olympics. Chantel’s amateur boxing career is nothing less than stellar. She has won 7 national boxing titles, became the WBC amateur champion and competed for a spot on Team USA’s boxing team at the 2024 Olympic Trials. Although she did not compete in the 2024 Paris Olympics, she decided go through the professional route of boxing and as of July 2024, she is an undefeated professional boxer with a bright future ahead of her.
